Tamil Nadu to Kerala, this tour showcases the
arts, Kathakali dance, music and traditions of the far south of India.
We discover, between the coasts of Coromandel and Malabar territory
guardian of a culture several thousand years, punctuated by majestic
temples, monumental remains of the Dravidian India. Along the Gulf of
Bengal and the Arabian Sea are revealed canals, lagoons, palm groves
and rice in soft tropical landscapes.

Day 1: Arrival Bangalore :
Upon arrival meet to representative, drive to hotel for rest of the
night.
Day 2: Bangalore - Tiruvannamalai :
Departure to Tiruvannamalai, an important pilgrimage center Shiva.
Discovery Arunachaleshwara temple, a huge building dedicated to Shiva,
and the ashram of Ramana Maharishi.
Day 3: Tiruvannamalai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram :
Departure to Kanchipuram, one of the seven sacred cities of Hinduism,
one located in the south. Visit the main temples and then drive to
Mahabalipuram, located along the Indian Ocean.
Day 4: Mahabalipuram :
After breakfast commence sightseeing, World Heritage of Unesco: Temples
of the Hill, the Shore temple erected under the Pallavas, splendid
relief evoking the legend of the "Descent of the Ganges," rathas South.
Day 5: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry :
Departure for Pondicherry, former French counter: Old Town Street
Dumas, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Notre-Dame-des-Anges, the seaside
Day 6: Pondicherry - Gangaikondacholapuram - Thanjavur (Tanjore):
Departure to Thanjavur via the temples and Gangaikondacholapuram
Airavateshwara (to Darasuram) and a craft village.
Day 7: Thanjavur - excursion Tiruchirapalli (Trichy)
Departure for Tiruchirapalli and visit the temples of Ranganatha Swami
(on the island of Sri Rangam) and Jambukeshvara. Back to Thanjavur.
Discovery Brihadishwara temple, a masterpiece of the Cholas, World
Heritage of Unesco, and palate (very fine collection of bronzes). In
the evening of Bharathanatyam performance.
Day 8: Thanjavur -Karaikudi :
Departure to Karaikudi in the Chettinad region, country Chettiars (rich
merchants in the early twentieth century who did build beautiful
houses). Along the way, Kanadikathan and mansions.
Day 9: Karaikudi - Madurai :
Departure to Madurai, a major center of Tamil culture palaces
Indo-Muslim Tirumalay Nayak; Gandhi museum tracing the history of the
independence of India and home to the memories of Mahatma Gandhi;
admirable Sundareshwara Minakshi temple, one of the monuments The most
impressive of India (high towers - gopurams - completely covered with
sculptures of mythological characters).
Day 10: Madurai - Periyar :
Departure to the Periyar National Park, leaving the state of Tamil Nadu
to Kerala. Visit a spice plantation.
Day 11: Periyar - Kumarakom.
Pleasant Road to Puthenangadi, embellished with plantations of rubber,
tea, coffee. Boarding for access to Kumarakom, situated on the eastern
shore of Lake Vembanad, a coconut grove in the heart of the backwaters.
Day 12: Kumarakom - Kochi (Cochin) :
Day cruise in a beautiful lush landscape, through the lagoons and
canals lined with palm trees. Discover life on the canals and their
banks: fishermen, houses ... Stop at Alleppey and drive to Kochi, a
former counter Netherlands.
Day 13: Kochi
Sightseeing: Port, Holland Palace, Synagogue, Church of St. Francis
Xavier. Evening show Kathakali (dance theater).
Day 14: Kochi - Mumbai (Bombay) :
Morningg boat trip in the Bay of Kochi. Evening flight to Mumbai, on
arrival drive to hotel, overnight at hotel.Â
Day 15: Mumbai-Sightseein-Departure :
Full day local sightseeing, late evening after dinner in time departure
to international aiport take flight to home.
